Turn off the power source

Locate the power source and safely disconnect it from the lighting fixture

This is done to decrease your chances of harming yourself or others

1. Flipping/clicking a switch
2. Unplugging from a wall
3. Taking out the batteries

Step 2

Unscrew the previous bulb

Grab the previous bulb tightly, close to the base.

Twist counter clockwise until out.

If too much resistance, wear gloves in case the bulb shatters.

Install new bulb

Insert the new bulb into the socket

Screw the bulb clockwise until resistance is apparent

Test the bulb by switching on the power a few times
